"Pineforest Retreat" as we call it is in the early stages of development into an eco-friendly small-scale resort that we have more recently decided to make clothing-optional after our own enjoyable experiences both at home & at River Island.

We have 110 acres of natural Eucalypt forest but with 10-15 acres cleared where we have built our house together with a self-contained "studio" which we lived in while building. We have upgraded the studio to make guests very comfortable & welcome.  The studio has a Queen-size bed, kitchen with gas cooktop & microwave, TV/DVD/Stereo, bathroom with toilet & shower, gas heater, pine lined & insulated, with gas barbecue on the verandah.

Recently completed is a separate bathroom/toilet facility intended to cater for day visitors.

There are many walking tracks through the forest, mostly out of sight of neighbours & roadway providing plenty of room to wander, picnic or cycle.  There is a dam full of noisy frogs and we have lots of kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras and rosellas. In the warmer months you can enjoy our 10m x 5m above-ground pool (nicely solar-heated) to swim, sunbake or just relax beside.

Tomerong is located a few minutes drive inland from Huskisson on Jervis Bay, reputed to have Australia's whitest sand, lots of dolphins & whales (in season!), fine restaurants, 2 quality golf courses, scuba diving, pub, movies, extensive beachside cycle track, etc.  Further north, we have Nowra with HMAS Albatross naval air museum, North Nowra Animal Park, Shoalhaven River & on to Berry & Kangaroo Valley all within 60 minutes or so.

On the south side of Jervis Bay we have Scottish Rocks & Hole-in-the-Wall well known as some of our unofficial nudist beaches (not legal though - you have to be a little discrete), & Booderee National Park & botanical gardens also a short drive from here.

All linen, cooking and eating utensils are provided.  You only need to bring your personal items and food.  There is a supermarket 10 minutes away, open from 6am till midnight, 7 days per week, for all your grocery requirements if you need to make your purchases locally.
